Business Development Manager – Business Assurance (Certification)

Job Responsibilities
With your commercial drive you will grasp every lead to expand current business or develop new business opportunities within defined areas, sectors and services. In a dynamic working environment where many leads are coming your way, you are able to prioritize them and keep a structured overview and planning. Working with sales targets is something that gives you the energy and challenge you desire to function at you best. With your knowledge and experience you will contribute to writing tenders for important projects. You know it’s important to use a substantial amount of your time to visit customers to discuss projects or requests and build on relationships. This suits you well. With your natural social way of interacting you are able to build and maintain relationships with key customers to the organization.

  • Create leads yourself and follow up on leads of our marketing organisation
  • Ensure and build relations with existing and new clients
  • Achieve agreed targets to protect and grow LRQA business
  • Promote LR, her vision and mission, and all products and services
  • Prepare quotes and follow up in line with our procedures

Job Requirements

  • (Technical ) degree or professional qualification with commercial experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial role
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in the Dutch B2B market
  • Good communication skills in both Dutch (as native language) and English, written as well as spoken, are required
  • Experience with certification of management systems is preferable
  • Demonstrable successful in sales
  • Willingness to travel in the Netherlands as business needs dictate
  • Experience in the B2B certification business is a pre
