The mission of the Global Bid Management & Strategic Deals is twofold:
to professionalize the function of bid managers across the whole of Worldline by defining clear job descriptions, career tracks, training curricula, etc
to manage the large (+25M€ TCV) & complex bids (cross GBL/cross country) across the whole of WL, all countries & all product lines
To increase our winrate for large deals, the Global Bid Management office is looking for Senior Bid Managers or Dealmakers to join the team to shape deals in an interactive way with the customer, to manage the opportunity process from ‘Pursuit’ till ‘Offer’ or ‘Contract’ Rainbow phase and to steer the bid team to create a winning offer.
Role and Responsibilities
Interacts with prospect and Worldline commercial team to shape the opportunity in order to increase win probability of Worldline. Manages the bid team to deliver the full proposition to the customer within the time, budget & resource constraints & guidance given through the Rainbow reviews
Client Management: Depending on the local relation with the Customer, establish direct relationship with Customer & third party advisors on the process during the bid phase. Ensure the proposition meets the customer’s requirements, differentiates WL & satisfies our internal requirements, subject to guidance by WL SR Mgt & in correspondence to the Win strategy.
Internal Organization: Organizes Win Workshops as appropriate to the bid and ensures follow-up of the outcomes, executes and follows up the agreed 'win strategy' to shape the opportunity, ensures timely & proper preparation of Rainbow reviews & coordinates the team in the reviews, prepares plan & budget, organizes & monitors the process to deliver the proposition, maintain relation with the local account manager/sales team throughout the opportunity cycle, maintain relation with internal stakeholders & contributors to the bid throughout the opportunity cycle
People Management: Manages the bid team and organizes contribution in an optimal way, flexibly responds to the situation at hand and provides right guidance to the team, demonstrates leadership to the team and provides direction concerning the content of the proposition
Profile, experience and skills
Master degree preferred
Strong industry knowledge preferred, technical knowledge of our solutions/services a plus but not a must
A previous customer facing experience strongly recommended, hands on experience with project management is a must, a previous operational responsibility (managing a team in operations, service delivery management role) is clearly a plus.

Proficient in writing and delivering high quality proposal
Able to clearly present the proposal both the WL executive management as to the customer
Project management skills: budget, planning, risk management, internal negotiation on staffing & resources
Business Intelligence skills: understanding competitive dynamics of a commercial bid process
Pricing skills (P&L, Business case management)
Customer focus:understand what is important for the customer & why they should select Worldline
English: business fluent
Stress resistant, able to cope with rapidly changing and complex situations
