Responsible for the retention and development of ongoing relationships between the company and its key clients and their intermediaries

Preparing bids and price quotations.

Prepare sales proposals and renewal offers with the contribution of internal stakeholders: risk underwriters, commercial underwriting; for a high level of client satisfaction and develop cross-selling

Delivering renewal revenue and achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned portfolio

Maximizing revenue and retention of profitable clients

Playing a key role in increasing customer experience by selling additional services /products to existing clients.

Collaborating in the design and execution of the Marketing Action Plan

Building the Market Intelligence and updating the reporting tool.

Responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients and their intermediaries.

Demonstrate products and services to existing clients and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Maintain a sound understanding of all products and ensure the proposition is developed through all appropriate sales channels.

Working with Marketing teams in making the most effective use of the resource for campaigns/events,

Coordinating and steering the internal stakeholders (account and sales managers, back office, risk underwriting and other experts) to ensure a timely, efficient and global service to clients

Participating in external events organized within the Region representing the company in the best light for building new business contacts

Work with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand. Zoek jij een ondernemende en inhoudelijke rol? Heb jij ervaring met sales & account management op CFO -niveau? HBO/WO Degree educated in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or equivalent.

At least 3 years of sales/Account management ideally within a credit insurance, banking, claims or factoring organization.

Teamplayer, Creative, Ambitious, Client Focussed

Willingness to travel

Experienced with contract management (renewals, contract life cycle)

Risk management

Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint

Dutch and English

Previous experience in a multicultural/international environment will be a plus. Our client is a global listed company with presence in more than 100 countries. They are originally French and the Dutch office has around 100 employees. Together they serve companies around the globe servicing them in credit insurance, risk hedging solutions, factoring and payment solutions.

The team global accounts is responsible for the servicing of the largest Dutch (€250 million +) clients. Through both the direct as the indirect channel. For this team we are looking for an ambitious key account manager with international aspirations, that excels is account management, upselling, cross selling and creativity to build out the current client base.
