Are you interested to work within a multinational company and play and be part of the European sales team? Are you looking for a role that gives you a lot of autonomy and room for decision making? Then join us as our new Account Manager and take responsibility for our medium sized direct OEM accounts in the Netherlands as well as one of the largest international OEM customer. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager OEM (UK & Benelux).

In this position you can work from our office in Rotterdam or home based.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop direct OEM’s business at specified accounts
Contribute to international coordination for a large global OEM account
Define short and medium actions and sales plans, aligning and working with the relevant sales, marketing and BU teams
Develop customer relationship and act as primary field sales representative for Danfoss
Deeply understand customer’s structure, products and decision making processes
Communicate the voice of the customer by sharing current and future commercial market needs to the organization
Execute by developing timeline, milestones, goals, KPI's and actions while involving all relevant stakeholders internally and externally, e.g. customers' engineering departments
Follow up on ongoing activities and monitoring potential opportunities or compelling events at customers
Prepare and create quotes in line with the valid relevant guidelines
Negotiation of agreements (e.g. pricing, LTA, warranty, etc.) within the guidelines laid down by the BU Sales and Sales Management
Participate in cross-functional and internal projects Your profile
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in mechatronics / mechanical / electrical engineering discipline or sufficient experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electronics design or technical support
3 - 5 years sales experience, ideally in the hydraulics industry, or in Danfoss target markets
Proven track record of successful Account Management and Sales Development
Business acumen combines with formal commercial and account management training is preferred
Pro-active and self-driven
Ability to build networks both internally and externally
Possess a level of competence necessary to comprehend and discuss technical and commercial aspects of the products / solutions
Fluent Dutch and English language skills What we offer
